ANN ARBOR— Halloween may only come once a year, but Ann Arbor is celebrating early.
The two-day event offers something for everyone, with each day tailored to a different audience.
Friday’s event runs from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and is open to guests 18 and older. Saturday shifts to a family-friendly atmosphere, running from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Tickets are currently available for presale online. Friday admission is $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Saturday tickets are $10 presale and $20 at the door, with free admission for children 12 and under. A weekend pass for both days is available online for $25.
Attendees can expect a wide range of activities, from shopping and live entertainment to food and immersive experiences.
Vendors will offer everything from crystals and horror-themed memorabilia to handmade goods, creating a unique marketplace for Halloween enthusiasts.
For those looking for entertainment, the event will feature live performances and sideshows designed to thrill and engage.
Food trucks will also be on-site, offering a variety of options to suit every taste.
Guests seeking a scare can explore the on-site haunted attraction, adding an extra layer of excitement to the weekend.
Saturday’s schedule includes a costume contest at 5:30 p.m., with categories such as scariest, best couple’s costume, and best movie-inspired look. Registration for the contest will be open from 12 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The event will close out Saturday with a hearse show featuring customized and restored vehicles from across the region, along with the owners who bring them to life.
Organizers have made accessibility a priority. The venue is wheelchair accessible, with parking available near the entrance for those who need it. Courtesy transportation around the parking area will also be provided.
For those traveling in, nearby hotel accommodations are available,
and limited on-site camping can be arranged in advance through the Washtenaw Farm Council Grounds.
We will be on-site Saturday covering the event, with a follow-up article to come featuring highlights, interviews, and a closer look at the people behind the experience.
